One more for the list, Cutthroat Island from 1995. It basically caused the collapse of a production company but honestly I enjoy it. Oscar quality movie? God no but very entertaining.
Just watched Pacific Rim again recently. Sometimes you gotta just enjoy a movie for what it is, and movies that solely exist for the action/violence are great, imo, and they don't really make those anymore. Not every movie has to have some sort of 'meaning.'
"Wild Wild West. I loved it as a kid but found out only recently that it was a massive flop, I rewatched it and it’s a fun movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously."

I agree with their opinions.
Yep I liked all of those too
+ it was partly filmed at my former workingplace in berlin while I worked their (for example: the famous gunkata technique scene )
And yes, Equilibrium is a great movie, as was Alien 3.
I agree with all of this ^
and I also liked the Avatar movie.
