Everything paranormal and religious stems from uneducated people not being able to understand the world around them. It's a poor, weak-minded fool's way of explaining things they don't otherwise know how to explain. There are no ghosts or haunted places. No ESP or psychic premonitions. No ghouls, no goblins ...and no gods.
Science is the only real truth. If science can't explain it, that doesn't mean it's magic. It only means the answer hasn't been discovered yet. The key word here being "yet."
Any who downvote this without logical rebuttal are clearly amongst that group of fools.

Hob, I down voted you. Your first statement is absurd. Tell me, how did the universe come to be? I mean before the Big Bang or whatever the new theory will be. You believe that humans evolved here by some infinitesimal chance? That's absurd as well.

Gina,

Invalid. Saying it's magic is the exact thing they were talking about. We don't know... YET. Everything in the universe happens by random chance and to say otherwise is to say it's magic.

Gina, so where did the "gods" come from then? What is more likely; some simple beings randomly evolving, or some omnipotent being with supoerpower appearing from nothing?

Hob,

While the way you said it (and that super condescending comment at the end) are kinda offensive I don't necessarily disagree with your core statement. I always think of the Arthur C Clarke quote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic".

#28 Åkerneset, below the mountain Flosteinnibba no far from Tafjord, will eventually fall. Nobody know when; it could be today, or in ten thousand years. Approximately 54 million cubic meter (1.9 trillion cubic feet) of rock will fall into Sunnylvsfjorden, creating a tsunami up to 80-90 meter (260-300ft) tall.

Doda,

The tallest tsunami recorded was in Alaska in 1958, over 1,700 ft [520 meteres]

"There is a recorded case of hysteria in a large French convent in 1844. One nun began meowing like a cat, and shortly thereafter, every nun in the convent began meowing together for several hours at a time. This lasted until soldiers accompanied police to the entrance of the convent, and the nuns were informed that they would be whipped by the soldiers until they stopped meowing."
