I've been to 46 of the 50 states in the U.S., and Texas folks were some of the kindest and most friendly. Missouri and Utah are right there too. Czech Republic is also filled with warm and welcoming people. Good beer helps.
#15 Texans are so sensitive about this (and stupid) they kept complaining to our Alaska Discovery center about the map that SHOWS the size difference, claiming it was wrong, so they took it down to stop the complaints.

You leave enough space between you and the vehicle in front of you so that incoming traffic can safely merge; it is called the Zipper Effect.
If people would just practice a bit of courtesy there would be a lot fewer accidents and road rage.
