i grew up in New England and my ex grew up in Alabama, we were living in NH and our neighborhood had a block party one summer, the temps were in the 90's, my ex was wearing a long sleeve shirt and long jeans and people kept asking her "aren't you hot?" and she just said "oh this isn't hot" and i said to her "this January when the temperatures in the 20's and you say how cold it is, know this, that's not cold"
