Stop with the "this generation is a bunch of babies" stuff. They are behind the 8-ball on some things. Inflation is outpacing earning ability. When I was in school, I earned $5/hour and tuition was $6K, now they earn $15/hour but tuition is $50K. Do the math. House prices are far outpacing earnings. It is much harder. Yes, some may play the victim card and are easier to offend, but we didn't have the pressures of social media and mass-shootings like they do now. So, just get over yourself and your superior attitude. You whined when you were young too... you just don't remember it. And maybe the kids now are better than we were regarding how they treat people. And also remember, who raised the kids now... we did. We were responsible for some of the "nobody loses" mentality... where do you think they learned it from. And yes, I'm a Gen-Xer, so don't whine... I get it, do you?
Iva, Oh I get it alright. Tuition, with fees, is about $6500 per year ($26,000 for a 4 year degree) at top rated universities in Florida so just stop with the exaggeration stuff. And many (most) go in with scholarships - there are scholarships for almost everyone if you put in the effort to find them. And most parents help their kids anyway. You may not be a whiner but these kids that want to blame everyone but themselves for their problems are weak. Social media and mass shootings? Give me a break. Man up!
#44 It's a massive, uncomfortable, awkward and ugly hunk of nonsense that I'd never want to climb into (or out of.) A normal sofa and a bed are perfect for those things.
#50 Do people still say "I can't even?" I was hoping that (or they) died.

My parents and grandparents were all in their earl 20's, and I was 27.

I wonder how many of them are working hard to buy a home and how many are instead whining at home about how hard life is.
My parents were in their 20s.
I bought my first house at 26.
