W2 was great. but it's only like 12 years old but W3 had Gwent and Damn did I play a lot of Gwent but W3 Gwent. not that standalone that wasn't as good.
2003 had knights of the old republic and it gave rise to call of duty. however, 2004 is considered the best/most important year of gaming it had a lot of bangers Halo 2, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, San Andreas, Far Cry, World of Warcraft and more. personally, I find Half-Life 2 to be the only one that is still worth playing.
