Brose, when I was growing up we had monkey bars on our elementary school playground that was like a 20x20x8 cube of cubes made of metal bars. They were fun to play on. I remember thinking when I got older that they look kinda dangerous - one slip and you’re gonna hit about 4 or 5 metal bars on the way down. Never worried about that as a kid. But they removed them at some point. Never heard of anyone getting hurt on them but I’m guessing someone probably did.
