I'd like to visit America, for sure a beautiful country. However, all those Americans living there.... nope.

Zadock,
It all depends on where you go. Trash knows no borders.

Zadock,
Most (60%) Americans are fine... but unfortunately the entitled, loud, obnoxious, flag waving idiots are the ones who travel to other countries.

Iva, “entitled” and “flag waving” are not attributes you find in the same people. It’s the whiny liberals that are entitled. This is basic knowledge. Please check your stupidity before commenting from here on. Thank you.

Yeah, especially the western part of the country. We helped my uncle move cross country from Washington state and after 2 full days of driving (12+ driving per day) we were barely half way through Montana...

I wouldn't visit the US for safety reasons tbh. I don't trust the police there, and I don't trust people with guns in general.

Elvira,
There are also overactive news medias over here. They sell bad news.... Nowadays it seems they have political alliances too. It is just the bad news picture they paint, nothing to get excited about.

Elvira,

We traveled to the US. Customer service is fantastic here. People are quiet friendly. The US isn't what you see in movies or the news. It's quite the beautiful country.
As a contrast, I've been to Italy and was disappointed by the people. Rude and gouge you wherever you go. It's a shame as the country is so beautiful and rich in culture.

#20 is wrong. Cracker Barrel has good food. It’s always packed with locals - pretty much every day of the week.

Alaska fishing is actually quite dangerous. Halibut fisherman always have landed guns (a flip of the tail can kill you), salmon fisherman can get tipped over in small boats or pulled out by a foot in a net. Shoreline fishing has to fight off bears and NEVER wear waders off the beach. All are known fatalities.
