I had a nice moment in Avignon a few years ago: A loud couple argues in thick midwestern american english (Do not do that in Europe! Learn at least a few words spoken in your host country!) with the waitress of a nice restaurant to have the dish they were about to order 'their way'. The waitress just wistled when the couple got obnoxious and two cooks took them out to the street. Hint: The unculture of having it 'your way' does not work outside Mackie D in Europe. The chef does his creations his way. Basta!
Elena, a little customized meal goes a long way to helping a customer. Like what if you're allergic to nuts? i guess Euros dont care about feelings. it's why they have feeling police now.

#24 Clearly they’re foreign and on metric. Tell them it’s 12 inches and pull out a bun that’s probably right behind you!
inches wouldn't be any more helpful. if they are from a metric country.
