i was dating a girl in 1984 and would bring her flowers often and one day she said to me
"i love it when you bring me flowers, you get a bigger kick out of it then i do"
i stopped bring her flowers and 6 months later she said
"how come you don't bring me flowers anymore?"

"because i no longer get a kick out of it"
