Sometimes home owners cannot afford the repairs, and have to just hope it holds up a little longer

The US and Canada have strict building codes and they get more strict every year. Some of these are probably quite old buildings, some have been repaired without the required inspections, and some are just a force of nature problem - enough to keep the phone ringing off the hook for home inspectors like myself!

"Rainwater Seeped Into The Balcony Framing And Got Caught Between The Joists And The Stucco Causing A Big Portion Of The Stucco To Fall Off. You Can See The Framing For The Balcony Has Significant Water Damage. Luckily, No One Below Was Hurt From The Falling Debris"
