It is easier for newer movies to hit $1B in box office receipts because :

1) There are more movie theaters and seats now than in the past.
2) Ticket prices has increased, not factoring in inflation.
3) The internet allows the movie marketing to reach more people and build even more hype across social media.

#24 Fabricated. I saw it in the first 2 weeks and was the only person in the theater. (Had a 5 hour wait for a flight and had to do something)
