#13 different people require different amounts of sleep, its not a fixed number. Some need more than 8 hours, some less. And that amount changes over time as you age.

#12 Ironically, asshats like Gwyneth Paltrow tell them to add a lemon slice to the water, which just cancels out the alkalinity with it's citric acid. Morons.

That essential oils are in any way necessary. The "essential" comes from the extract or "essence" of the flowers or whatever they're made with.

Also, dietary supplements are only regulated by the FDA as a food, not a drug, so be wary of what the marketers tell you they can do.

Bottom line- Don't fall for the hype and do your own research..

#13 Until recently in history (before electricity), many people split their night's sleep into two parts. They went to bed when it got dark, slept for four hours or so and then were up for a few hours doing things like reading or having a snack. Then they'd go back to sleep until sunrise.

#10 Nope, that's wrong. And logically asinine. Roads, trains, airplanes, whatever are more congested when you have more people using them. Delays will then happen.

"“I don’t need 8 hours of sleep.”Yes, yes, you do.

Just because you can wake up and function normally does not mean you have super genes. You’re still sleep deprived, just not in an obvious manner."
