#9 There are bigger voids than that, and they do know why. Gravity causes galaxies to cluster together into superclusters which then group to form filaments that stretch across the universe as it expands. Voids are to be expected. Also, planets, stars and even galaxies can be ejected from their orbits, which explains the lone galaxies in the voids.
A bigger mystery is the Great Attractor, but we only don't know what it is because it lies beyond the Zone of Avoidance- the area we can't see well because it lies on the other side of the galactic plane where the Milky Way obstructs the view.

#18 We can't even properly comprehend how much a billion is. We see visual representations, but truly grasping it is difficult.

#14 & #27 are not so much facts as they are the realizations of a 14 year old who thinks they've suddenly become a philosopher

#1 Not all but most of the body will be ash. Still have bone fragments and teeth

#10 Yeah. Think they call this the vanishing twin or parasitic twin syndrome where there were two developing fetuses but only one fully developed and the other is absorbed partially into the surviving one's body.

#12 Disturbing

#18 That is about how I explain religions. We humans are trying to explain and infinite and all encompassing God with out limited minds. That is why there are so many religions because no single one can encompass what God is, only parts. That is why I find the study of religion so fascinating. To me it is about seeing the minds of the people not about finding the deity itself.

"You might feel like the healthiest person in the world and yet still randomly die in your sleep. Sudden arrhythmic death syndrome is just one example. There are tons of small obstructions and irregularities that your heart could be suffering from that go completely unnoticed by you, your friends, and your doctors. You might be at an increased risk of just passing on when you go to bed tonight, and no one would even suspect as much until you actually died."
