That laying in bed on your back position is the worst you can have giving birth. Its just a stupid little film thing, so the camera could easily catch her face expressions. It annoys me everytime I see it in films. (gave birth to two children)

When my daughter was born, (A C-section, premie), I was sure her mother had been abducted by aliens. Her skin was blue-gray, with bulging eyes, no hair, spindly arms and legs. OMG, she looked like one of the Grays.
