#2 Just goes to show that socialism doesn't pay!

Candace,
That's funny -- it serves most of America just fine.

Callie,

Lemme guess. You think things like roads are “socialist”.

Epsey,
They are -- extremely so. So is the protection you get from the Armed Forces, law enforcement, the fire department, and any school you can attend on the taxpayer's dine.

Callie,

Your ignorance on socialism is dangerous. You need to spend some time with someone who experienced actual socialism. It's way more than roads and fire departments...

Callie,

The closest thing America has to socialism is inner-city ghettos. The government (taxpayers) provides food, housing, and health care and you stay dumb and poor.

#2 You probably can't expect to be a successful journalist unless you give up all your thinking to the garbage left!

#2 this is mostly a chart about how likely it is not to find a (well paying) job in the field you studied.

#2 They're missing communication science with 99% at 1.

#5 "by market capitalization" IMHO is a BS figure. I'd rather had seen this "by number of cars produced in a year" or by "value of cars produced in a year"

#14 Yeah, finally, proof that car colours got more boring over time.

#16 Bit pointless, "per capita" would have been more interesting somehow.

I think most charts should also show normalized data. Comparing the consume of a common good in a country with a billion people to one with a few million would obviously show a higher consumption in the country with more people.

#14 These colors are NOT an indication of desired colors by purchasers! Trust me I would have an orange car over my boring white one and day, but it came ONLY in black, white, gray, pearl (another white), and red. Didn't want to repaint a brand new car.
