So what this is saying, and what I'm supposed to believe is that in New York you can find all kinds of valuable items sitting on the sidewalk free to pick up? I think not.

Felty, I have no idea but I’m guessing if you live in such a congested city, and you have a lot of money, sometimes when you’re moving it’s just easier to discard possessions and buy new. Probably rare but in a city of millions it’s bound to happen.
