Not wanting to burst your China bubble but that is indeed real leather laminated on some other material. Don't blame China but rather the importer who ordered that they be made as cheaply as possible to maximize profits. China will make what you want at any price point. I have a few belts made in China that are 100% pure leather and probably cost less than that "Calvin Klein" belt which btw has nothing to do with CK but who ever bought the rights to the brand.
