Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Igor, would you give me a hand with the bags?
Igor: [doing a Groucho Marx] Certainly, you take the blonde and I'll take the one in the turban.

I just last week bought Blazing Saddles in BluRay. I am thinking that it will be "erased" for not being PC.

Monty, The IFC TV channel plays it, periodically, unedited!

It’s actually a scathing retribution to racism and to a lesser extent, anti-semetism. Hardcore racists famously hate that movie because it openly makes fun of them. If there’s one grievance culture it certainly makes fun of, it’s gays with that hilarious dance number toward the end.

It’s my personal top 10 funniest movie ever made.

Loomie, no one that has seen the movie thinks it is anti-racist. No one.

Brooks wanted to capture the feel of the old Universal monster movies. Not only did they shoot in black-and-white and use old-school credits and scene transitions, but many of the props used in the film came from the 1931 version of Frankenstein.
