I worked for years and years and years and never expected my company, or boss, to do anything for me. When I was hired I made a good wage - I didn’t sign on contingent on bonuses etc. Some years I didn’t even get a raise when times were bad. Be glad for your wage or move to a different company if you are not happy.
Mostly all of them wouldn't feel like appreciation to me, but like a slap in the face. If my company would give me some BS like that, that would be the day I'd hand in my letter of resignation.

Yeah but realistically it's probably zinc at best so basically worthless..

Depending on the number of people and type of place these bosses might get pelted with rocks...

If no company wants to pay a good wage that lowers your options a bit, gets more painful with companies making record profits...
I don't get why people are loyal to a company that doesn't give a cr#p about them.
