These are design tips, not cleaning hacks.

Nanny,

I agree absolutely:

I was looking for an life hack e.g. how to clean the greased tiles near my cooking place.

There is no way that I will redesign my rented appartement this weekend...

Odell, Check out an air freshener called Pure Citrus. Spray on surface, scrub with DRY towel/brush/scrubber then rinse with water. Until it's rinsed with water it's flammable. Safe for aluminum. I get mine from Walmart. It also kills small insects.

Corey,

thank you.

I will look for something similar either in a German or a Danish supermarket.
At least, one advantage of living very close (200m) to the border

Nanny,

Not only that, when did the word "hack" become associated with implementing an improvement on something? "Life hacks, study hacks, cooking hacks" etc etc. It's like the word "This" when depicting something considered unusual. "This smoking toaster, This vacant lot, This guy flipping off a group of Nuns." SO? What of it? Drop the word 'This' and the subject matter remains the same. It's superfluous and pretentious.
