most of these things work way better than it's future predecessor. My electric blender already cr#pped out after 3 years. my vent hoods no longer vent well, and gas stoves are illegal
#16 that time has been here for a while. I have seen (and owned) ovens where you just select your type of food, it's size/amount, and the oven does (supposedly) the rest.
#3 Modern toasters now dry your bread out if you want it dark. Ever since some morons burnt themselves and sued they make them less powerful. Along with wide slots for bagels and anything you might want to put in them , they don't toast like the old ones did. I still use a circa 1960's toaster and nothing beats it.
#13, #14, #15 You must use a nut grinder to make powder from almonds and other nuts or the oil can come out. The #5 foodprossesor is faster, but can make the oil separete.
Back when times were simpler, lots of people had a real need for an egg-grader, which weighed each individual egg in a cute little cup and categorized its size appropriately.
