#5 atheist: someone who fights people over what they believe is nonexistent

Ivan,

*what IS nonexistent
...and no, atheists never fight. There has never been a war between atheists in the entire history of the world. How many "holy wars" have there been? How man are happening right now?
We're just trying to help you see the truth- that your gods are imaginary and none of it matters. No one needs to die over a fairy tale.

Caleb,
While I see myself as more agnostic instead of atheist (I don't say there isn't a god there's no way to prove there is or isn't, so there might be) you definitely haven't seen anywhere near the numbers of wars started as there have been by basically groups screaming my God is better than your God...

Caleb,

(1) has perfectly absolute standpoint (not even acknowledging the very possibility of being wrong), aka thinks he is himself God
(2) spews some of the most incomprehensibly ignorant things I have ever heard, completely disregarding huge chunks of history (communist countries for instance never hurt ANYONE, right?)
(3) gets massive upvotes

comment sections honestly just give me anger. stick to cat pics, people, you don't know anything about life and your hearts are without any fire.

Caleb, the wars that religion started pale in comparison to the deaths caused by atheist/agnostic rulers.

Mao Zedong: 70 million estimated
Joseph Stalin: 20 million estimated
Hitler: 17 million estimated
Nationalist government of China: 15 million estimated
Japanese War Holocaust: 15 million estimated

I could go on and on but you can see that the numbers are nowhere near what religious wars are. And spare us the mental gymnastics of saying “but wah wah it wasn’t done in the name of atheism” - it didn’t need to be - it was the sadistic, tyrannical, inhuman mind of atheism that allowed it to happen.

Mellony,

You're not wrong that they were atheists but that actually had nothing to do with it, they were human therefore cruelty is part of their nature. Religious Atheist it doesn't matter it's still people killing people. Someone wants to worship a magical rock or believe that someone came back from the dead, that's entirely up to them...

Zeke,

Incorrect, those tyrants were atheist and their regimes and governments were officially atheist, unlike all others. They were not neutral. Lenin himself declared on Dec 22, 1922 that anyone attending religious services on Christmas were to be shot. And they were. There is plenty of evidence of atrocities committed by atheists. "If there is no God, then everything is permitted." It seems to me that their crimes are secondary to their beliefs. There was nothing to restrain them....

Mellony,

Your argument is absurd. They may (or may not) have been atheists, but they weren't killing people because of their religious beliefs so your point is entirely invalid. Stay out of this. Your god still isn't real.

#38 Groceries are always on sale. You just have to look for the little yellow sign that says 'SALE' or '2 for 1.' Also, coupons are still a thing, but I wouldn't expect you young 'uns to know what a coupon is. I'll start valuing your opinions when you stop spending all your money at Starbucks and buy some damn Maxwell House.

#44 No. No, we're really not. See what I did there? It's "we ARE really," not "we really."
Maybe you should start acting like a grown adult and not a grown child. Learn proper grammar and punctuation while you're at it, huh?

Dicky,

"grown children" are better people. i'd rather **** up grammar and laugh at dumb stuff than grow into a calculating strategist - because the latter is a coping mechanism for weak people that couldn't stomach real life whilst being silly and innocent, as these characteristics make you more vulnerable. typical adult things such as an immaculate suit, perfect grooming and well-mannered formal speech scream "i am lost without robotic rules" more than anything else. you may look awesome in the mirror, but you're pathetic in the eyes of anyone with heart.

you know what's easy? adapting to a sh#tty, unfair, adult world and becoming serious and oriented towards materialism. really freaking hard (heart) is staying innocent when the world screams "lose your feelings already" 24/7.
