#15 This is only "stupid" if you've never used a circular saw. He looks like he's done this a few times, as have I. If you're skilled - and there are no hidden nails in the wood, and you're not too drunk - you'll be fine. The blade isn't as close to his leg as the pic makes it appear, and he's cut a whole pile like that already.
