When it is such a painstaking event why not just saying no on an invitation and go to a pub for a few instead? Thats what I would do.

#4 Agreed, but with better food. Keep the mashed potatoes, but prime rib. Turkey is horrible unless it’s processed, and comes in a package that keeps it moist.
