#4 War and poverty are the norm - the default. Peace and prosperity are the exceptions. Learned this from Thomas Sowell. He often says: don't ask why people are poor, ask why people are wealthy. That's where the answers are.
"In ww2 a young german SS soldier was captured by the soviets during there march to berlin, the soviets gave him 2 options either 1. Get shot immediately or 2. Play the piano for as long as he can. He chose option number 2. After 22 hours of playing the piano the soldier collapsed out of fatigue the soviets congratulated him and then shot him."
