Ivan, Yes and that reason was "those wolves are being wolves and existing". See, after white people had murdered a the indians and slaughtered the indigenous fauna, the farmers all wanted to have huge herds of non indigenous animals that hadnever experienced wolves and because of that idiocy, the wolves had a field day. The farmer, being an idiot, got mad that his thoughtless stupidity and lack of rational thinking skulls, got mad at the wolves for.... i dunno, being themaelves i guess, and got the moronic inept government's of the day to agree to exterminating the indigenous fauna for reasons like 'Im a wolf dimwit'. your comment is stupid. you are stupid. go stupid elsewhere.
Exactly! Finally someone gets it. There's a reason we did that long ago.
I'm just imagining the people of yesteryear acting like today's morons "hey there's wolves in our backyard, wrecking our sh#t. Shall I fetch the bows and spears?" "no! We're one with the earth from now on. Let them kill our livestock and try to live in harmony and that bear over there? He's our friend, too. What is it you say? Little Timmy has been mauled?" hmm Yep
Ivan, "This costs the patient nothing" is absolutely teue. There is no fee to pay, no monetary cost to the patient. There is NO TRANSACTION that takes place. The statement is perfectly true and needs no qualification. As an adult, i understand that my taxes are used to provide this service. As a rational adult i implicitly understand that this service does not require a fee to be paid because i, as an adult, understand the difference between a FEE and Taxes.
I don't understand all the hostility towards your comment. You are correct, the services and supplies are not free, even if the patient isn't paying. Someone is paying - and it's the taxpayers.
#47 Ah, the insanity of white right wing christian gunnuts, arming themselves in rapt anticipation of the apocalyptic end times or a black person existing in the world.
Donald, (really - are you THE Donald, that will go soon to jail?) If I understand you right, you want to show, that the USA are to poor (or to corrupt or to stupid) to install a healthcare system, albeit they could set it up on 10 times more shoulders tha than Australia?
Fun fact: This plane in the picture will fly probably further, than it would be possible in the USA. So, the flight would be more expensive than a flight in the US.
But because a helthcare system is controlling the costs, it will be much cheaper for the Australian community than it would be in the US, because in the USA is no one who would doublecheck the bill against fraud or a "fantasy bill" (eg. a bill demanding 2'500,- USD for waiting for a doctor who never showed up)
No, it's not communism to provide free knowledge (like schools and universities) or free healthcare, it's the difference between a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd world country.
Just compare your country with other countries, some "disciplines": - average lifetime - number of languages spoken - geographical knowledge - equal and fair justice for every citizen - percentage of house owners - democracy (yes, just compare, what European, Australien (and New Zealand) and even some African nations provide as possibilities for decisions made by the people).
soooo... it would take less dollars per head in america to pay for that...? it doesnt mean there must be x-times more accidents just because there are more people... if they are not dumb.
#55 This isn't quite correct. Australia has a reciprocal arrangement with New Zealand for accident and emergency only. As a New Zealander, if I am in a serious accident in Aussie, I will be treated there. However, and this is important, the Australian government claims the costs from the New Zealand government, and ultimately, the New Zealand government will claim the costs from me (apparently believe including interest). That is why, despite Australia and New Zealand having close ties, it is regarded as very risky for Kiwis not to spend a few bucks on health insurance before the leave for Aussie. FYI. New Zealand medical care is only free for citizens and residents.
same in Germany. If I would have an emergency in e.g. France, Norway or Sweden I should have an extra insurance. For Norway (not in the EU, but in Schengen) it costs 34,95€ per year. For France (in the EU and Schengen) it's about 29,95€ per year.
So, it's cheaper than a dinner in a fancy restaurant.

Never mind the tree huggers Ivan, dangerous animals in the wild is always a bad idea.
Yes indeed. Let us kill all dangerous animals that are in the wild. D*mb*ss.
Exactly! Finally someone gets it. There's a reason we did that long ago.

The problem is thus is an upgrade disc only. What on earth would one upgrade from in this day and age?
download an office 97 version and use the 112-1111111 key
Yeah until they force an update on it and then you're screwed
i knew, you would write that.
I also know, that you are from a country where being shot is the most probable way to die for the younger generations.
So it's true, that you don't need healthcare:
Those being shot (e.g. in school) are dead anyway, so why pay for health insurance?
{Sarcasm off}
A tourist pays 200 000 in taxes there? hmm.. NOPE!

Chances are, one of those people will use one of those guns to either kill themselves and/or one of the other people in the photo. Go America!
Also, "triggered" ... ha ha! I see what you did there
Jealous?
That's right, the whole world doesn't know how the USA works today. You folks just don't get it...and never will.
Go ahead and try to rob them. Let us know how that goes for you.
you mean, like how the americans robbed the natives off their land?
can be pulled from the composite audio/video signals.
USA 333.29 million people
see the difference?
That there are too many stupid Americans, but not nearly enough Australians! Agreed!
So jaalous!

(In terrible, female German accent)-"Oh, thank you Doctor."
#55 This? You mean lending with the plane and get several limbs broken...
