Molly, yep, tipping is totally out of control. I usually just leave $3 - $5 cash regardless of the total - unless it’s like $100 then I might leave a $10.

Algy,

You’re cheap.
15% is the minimum for dining out.

Molly,

Sadly the tipping industry has been pushing 20% or you are a j#rk. And it's gotten bad enough that you are expected to tip the restaurant AND the delivery driver if you order out... so it's not 20%, it's actually, 20+20+sales tax, averaging up to 50-60% for under $100 purchase.

#53 if you have that many pots, you have bigger problems than just stacking them neatly

Unfortunately this will only work once maybe twice and then the child will refuse to drink all those expensive drink pouches you already bought...

#11 the feet on a washer are adjustable. chances are they just need leveled out. there are also internal springs to balance washers. so many times they rust out become unhooked during transport and need replaced. just do normal maintenance instead of hacks.

#13 I don't think the problem is knowing the math... the problem is that tips exist at all and the minimum wage REQUIRES them to make up to a living wage, and you are supposed to feel guilty that a business is poor. I belive in real wages, and real work by lazy owners/managers/supervisors. (From a SUCCESSFUL small business owner who pays real wages to delivery drivers)

#17 Yeah, seems easy until you have to wash the damn oil off the grater and realize it never gets clean. Room temp butter spreads easy with less waste/cleanup
