#6 ((((sigh)))) If you re-name 'laziness' into a mental disorder, all you do is remove personal accountability for those who historically show up to work chronically late.

Aurelia, Upvoted. There is a general push to make medical excuses for all kinds of slovenly behavior.

Aurelia,

Late for work is not due to being slow in the morning, it's due to not being responsible. This is about about physically waking up. The work stuff was in the other dump.

#14 To be more precice, during the era of black and white television people started to dream in black and white... apparently dreams are attached to fantasy and storytelling more than physical reality, which is what out brains store television as.

#6 Morning hormone surges are known factor for many people (mine is very visible on my diabetic monitoring system because it jumps my sugars as high as a fat cheeseburger while fasting). So, I am KNOWN by all to be very slow and mentally sluggish for at least 30-1hr after waking. So am I lazy?? No, like millions of others without diabetes and have uncontrolled hormone jumps, I'm just fighting my own body.

If it takes you less than five minutes to fall asleep at night, you’re probably sleep-deprived. Ideally, falling asleep should take 10 to 15 minutes.
