Check to see if there's a breaker panel or an actual fuse box not a deal killer but if the panel is that old there are probably other problems like asbestos insulation on the furnace. I looked a a house, saw the fuse box figured ok I would need an electrician to come in an replace plus check the rest of the wiring. Then I saw the hard fabric looking insulation on the furnace ducts, walked right out and got in my car and left. One out of 2 would be expensive but doable, both no way not me...

Turns out there’s only one cell tower to serve the surrounding neighborhood of 200-plus houses, and since it’s next to a neighborhood of million-dollar homes, they can’t get the approval to put in another one. So, I’m SOL."
