"Gratuity Isn’t Gratuity If It’s Automatically Added To A Bill"
"20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill for a party of 2 while the receipt says it’s added for a party of 5. On top of that the receipt given back to you pretends like they didn’t just add a tip and leaves another line for a tip"
also i have a local restaurant that charges a 2% wellness fee for sanitizer and masks of their employees Lmao
We know who you voted for/are voting for, well ... if your not a felon.
its the employer who should pay livable wages....
#5 It’s like the companies started offering tipping for non-dine-in services in order to keep the little rat b@st@rds at Subway friendly.
#22 F@#k this b!tch in particular.
#24 If you can’t provide living wages, don’t open a business. If you don’t want to work for less than living wages, don’t work for these @$$h0les.
#32 This is extortion!
You get to restaurant. You pay for your meal. On top of that some kind of additional tax (not included in price). On top of that the Gratuity/Service fee included in the bill. And then they ask you to tip between 20%-50%. It is calculated with all above included. So
Food : 100$
Tax (10%) : 10$
Gratuity fee (15%): 15$
------------
Total 125$
Tip (20%): 25$
customer pays for the product + pays the wage of the workers instead of the employer. how is this even legal FFS?!
