"Professional incompetence. On all levels, from cashiers at McDonald’s to nuclear scientists.
The difference is in how the organization handles and mitigates failure"
"Herpes"
"More people than you would think do coke recreationally"
"People who don’t wash their hands after using the restroom."
"Credit card debt. 45% of Americans carry a credit card balance from one month to the next."
"Drunk/High driving"
"Not having any friends when you’re older. After you graduate college, especially if you move to a new city for a job, it’s hard to maintain friendships. And it’s definitely hard to get new friends once you’re in the adult world working every day. Many people’s only friend is their spouse. And if they aren’t married many people just don’t have any friends."
"Imposter syndrome. No one knows what we are doing. We are all just winging it. Most of us are hoping that asking questions and being nice will get us there."
"Picking noses. Scratching buttholes. Yes, most peoples’ fingers do horrible, horrible things. Not me though, shame on all of you."
"People being ashamed of things they like. Pro wrestling, tabletop games, types of media (anime, reality TV etc.).
People are way more insecure about people getting a peek at their true selves than people realize."
"Being killed by a medical mistake in a hospital."
"There are a lot more very kinky people doing very kinky things than you think. Seriously. Most people just have no idea"
"The number of people being left behind by services going digital. They come into the library where I volunteer to find help, not only do some of them not have email addresses (and most of the ones who do rely on the computer remembering their passwords) a significant number don’t even have mobile phones."
"Parents regretting having children"
"Miscarriage. The Mayo Clinic says up to 20% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, which is already a lot. This is obviously heartbreaking for wanted pregnancies, but can be difficult for unwanted pregnancies too. But in addition to that 20%, many people miscarry before they learn they’re pregnant."
"Mental health problems"
"People popping pills to barely function"
Huh? Look, I get some of your point that people are hired/kept because they check a box, but there are a LOT of dumb, incompetent white males, too. Many of which are running various countries or major corporations.
What you're bringing up is specious reasoning or "What-about-ism." The Left use that old tactic a lot when confronting someone who brought 'facts' to the argument. Which means it's the first thing they resort to before simply calling someone a racist in a vain attempt to shut down an argument they can't possibly win. I'm not necessarily saying YOU are doing that here. It's just what THEY do, ad nauseum.
I do too. All the time. Having a child should always be a intentional responsibility…not merely the result of a drunken backseat grope-fest and a broken prophylactic.
Yes. When you're sitting on a toilet...you are literally 'resting.' But you already knew that, right?
