Ralph, you have to use "useable" matches ergo matches WITH a head.
He "cut corners" by telephoning the match company and buying ONLY the wood sticks WITHOUT head.
And if he, like i, participated in some competition he would know this.

#1 No, no, no and no. Twenties were constantly physical pain, 2-3 hours of sleep per cycle, painkillers every morning, and could never drink enough of disgusting liquor to even get drunk let alone a hangover. So, yeah.
