What's kept out of the history books is that the very first slave owner in the USA, Anthony Johnson...was black. In fact...FACT, at the peak of slavery in 1860, only 1.4% of Americans owned slaves. What your history books again fail to reveal is that 3,000 blacks owned a total of 20,000 slaves that same year. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.........................oops!

What your history books seem to stop at is that slavery in the Americas was started, supplied, and supported by Africans, who created a new brand of slavery unseen in history. It was never white against black (although many people believed souls only belonged to white men of privilege) it was always about profit. That is the crime, not created by racism, but profiting from it.
