#1 Looks like a version of the Necrocomicon (Evil Dead series). I would not handle it, but would place it in a box and mail it to the Vatican so that they can deal with it; they are into that sort of thing.

You might also want to drink some Holy Water just to be on the safe side. Even if you are an aetheist it could not hurt.
