#2 - looks like he has bigger issues than the flashing - looks like it pulled away because the roof below has rotten/broken rafter(s). That’s a major repair - $500 won’t even come close to getting that fixed properly.

#27 - worst advice ever LOL. This person will never be able to get it back to its original state obviously because a machine weaved it when it was manufactured - best you can do is trim it down a bit and put some PVC glue on it to keep it from fraying. Assuming this is on some sort of outdoor canvas.
"My Roommate Knocked A Giant Bottle Of Laundry Detergent On The Carpet. This Is After We Wiped Up As Much As We Could With Paper Towels. How Do We Fix? Help?!?!?"
"Water and a shop vac. Or rent one of those rug doctors, just don't add soap to it. Laundry detergent isn't such a pain in the ass to clean up because it doesn't foam up much."
