#2 - looks like he has bigger issues than the flashing - looks like it pulled away because the roof below has rotten/broken rafter(s). That’s a major repair - $500 won’t even come close to getting that fixed properly.

#27 - worst advice ever LOL. This person will never be able to get it back to its original state obviously because a machine weaved it when it was manufactured - best you can do is trim it down a bit and put some PVC glue on it to keep it from fraying. Assuming this is on some sort of outdoor canvas.

"There are hard plastic clear stickers you can buy from Amazon where you put one on either side of where it broke off and it remakes the little connection so you can hang them again."
