#7 As an Alaskan I an unable to defend Ukutac... honestly it is a limited regional dish, prepared by those who want to dare people to eat an ancient survival dish. Kinda like raw seal blubber in salmonberry juice, or limpet and fiddlehead fern soup.
#15 This sounds cruel, but the way they harvest silk is by waiting for the pupae to build the silk cocoon, and then dropping them into boiling water to unravel the silk. So, the cooked worms were left behind as a snack. This is how they became a recycled food source.
#17 I have tried Muktuk, during a Potlatch funeral, and I can say it is an aquired taste. Nothing is quite like the soft bite, and intense marine mammal burst, that doesn't fade quickly. Had to try it raw, smoked, and frozen with berries, all very memorable.
#20 Grilled udder with parsley, garlic & butter is delicious and easy to prepare. Also available in Europe. Here is a recipe (in french) : www.lapetitecuisinedenat.com/2021/03/tetine-de-vache.html

Nohing wrong with vegemite!
The idea that grown men collect little boy piss to boil eggs, now that's what a psychiatrist is needed for.
Here's what Vegemite and Marmite needs...SUGAR. And lots of it.
