some knives dont as well. i have large knives that i hand wash. only takes a min amd you don't have to worry about accidentally slicing your hand

High Carbon Steel will rust after Dishwasher + wooden handle and hot water also doesn't mix well.

The cookie dough from the ice cream is fun, the used eggs are not a big problem. Just throw away when done. It's neat and not taking space, not a deal breaker. The rest of this stuff , pack your bags...
