I’m retired now - but when I did work I pretty much always enjoyed it. There were times I was stressed because of deadline pressures and performance expectations for sure - but even then I liked work.
I enjoy working too. But it is too much work and not enough pay out. Workers today are, thanks to it and robotics, much more productive than 50 years ago. Thanks to smartphones, we can be called at every time and day. Therefore, we are much more exhausted and need more time to recover. And we should be able to afford housing. Don't get me wrong, people worked hard back in the days. But it was different.
