#6 It's not just a razor stash in the wall. Most early 20th Century over-the-sink medicine cabinets in bathrooms had a 2" wide slot to deposit used shaving razor blades. I bought an old house in Denver 20 years ago and needed to renovate the bathroom. When I removed the old cabinet it pretty much looked like this, but with waaaay more old rusty blades and some old pennies from the 1930's.
