A Rat make good a pet. Just don't get a female cause they're wh#res. The one I had chewed thru a solid wood door to get to the boys and get knocked up. Then I had lots of Rats as pets. They do sweet things like bite the calluses off your feet and eat nachos, flinging cheese everywhere as they drag some across the floor and into their midnight snack stash. Grab your lit cigarette from the ashtray and run into the secret hole in the side of the mattress to smoke it. Great fun.

Only way this would be worse was if those were spiders
