#8 I've stayed in hundreds of hotels through several decades around the world. I've never used the room's dresser drawers. That's what the furniture and floor are for.

#15 Not just the elevator, but the ice machine, vending machines and the always-set-to-slam-hard stair door on each end of the building. Also, the best ear plugs are the wax plugs swimmers use. Not those ineffective foam plugs. Those wax plugs when properly jammed into each ear will render you legally deaf.
