#5 - this person is correct actually. Minimum wage was never intended to be a living wage. It's meant to get teenagers and unskilled workers in to the work force to gain experience.

Bo,
yes. it's the value you bring to a company. not to support your lifestyle. Living and fair wage terms are very subjective

Bo,

Tell that to the people who are not teenagers and unskilled workers who work there year-round.

Elminie, Poor life choices have consequences. California is trying an artificially high minimum wage. Over 10,000 unskilled jobs have been lost since the minimum wage hike.

Cyrus,
You see, if they _got_ lost there wasn't a job to do in the first place. Which leads to the simple question: why would anybody pay even one dollar for a a job that doesn't need to be done?

Bo,

well, that would mean that you both are double-incorrect. According to what you say, the workers should have a higher wage from the start (because they aren't teens or unskilled workers to bring back to the work force).

That said, minimum wage WOULD change nothing, because it isn't paid at Disney.

I could add a bunch of photos from my last vacation alone.

People are @$$holes. It's like that and it probably will never change.
