Interesting place. Kind of like that island where pigs swim around...except the pictures never show the inevitable piles of horse crap on the beach or pig crap floating in the water. ICK!

#21 - uh, the speed of sound *everywhere* changes based on location and temperature (among other things). This is how passive sonar works and is in no way a "new" revelation related in any way to Mars.
