Thay bed you are lying in whilst waiting for the surgeon or doctor: quite possibly hundreds of people had that as their death bed and yet not a psychic or medium in sight.

#5 "collected" may not be the right word. Those were personal possessions that people grabbed on the way out, and confiscated by the camp since they didn't need them since the people were viewed as disposable.
