#8 Managers do this too often. Go make excuses and laugh it up with their managers then come back to say stupid junk to the only people who can save them.
#14 Project managers who don't know anything love to say, "failure is not an option" or "mission critical". When, you've had a job where that's true and get a "regular" job it's really hard to listen to that kind of stuff and not laugh or say, "that's nonsense, stop being dramatic."

#23 Managers at Sprint were like that. Employee sitting in the next cube was always talking really loud on the phone, using all the latest catch phrases, etc. He was an "account manager". His big achievement was putting a sign in the "Sprint" stores that replaced the number thing which told you when you were next.
