#19 This one's easy. It's for a centrally controlled clock system. Change the time on the master clock, and all of the others change to the same time. Good for daylight saving at schools, universities, etc.

Located to provide power to a wall clock, without the cord dangling down to the floor. Had one in my kitchen in Chicago.
Doubt it's for a centralized clock system, but it's still possible.
