Annette,

I remember that stuff! “Super Elastic Bubble Plastic.” Had a little straw to blow the bubbles.

Also, original Play-Doh, original Chapstick, original Silly Putty, Scratch n’ Sniff, baseball card gum, Elmer’s Glue-All, and soooo many more scents of the 70’s that I miss.

#8 Your dad cleaned engine parts with gasoline in the driveway when you were a child. He let you put gas in the car at the station. The smell of gasoline would be on your dad’s clothes after rebuilding an engine of an old car he bought.

You’ve always liked the smell, because you’ve always loved your dad.

Crayons! I have an old cookie tin full of broken crayons I keep for my grandkids. Every so often I pop the cover and take a good whiff. That's childhood, right there!
