#10 Clearly staged. That toilet was originally way off to the right out of frame. Hence, the flexible drain pipe. He unscrewed the floor nuts (one is visible) and lifted the toilet off the floor drain and placed it there.

The thing on the floor next to the toilet is a door stop. You can also see the water outlet in the edge of the picture is of the wall mounted type (if you've ever installed something like that you'll know). Who the heck would go to all the trouble you list to fake this picture anyways; it would be far easier and more effective to just photo shop it, even on a cell phone.

Syl, The thermometer does not look real. If it is real, it is an alcohol (the red stuff) thermometer. I doubt if mercury thermometers are even made anymore.
